About Arcania in detail

Arcania — a paid RPG Minecraft modpack with mods and a story

Arcania is a private Minecraft 1.20.1 modpack built from 290 mods with its own story, bosses and quests. Access is sold by subscription: it opens right after payment and the key arrives in your account. This is not a free pack from a catalogue but a paid RPG modpack assembled and tuned as one game — conflicting mods are removed or rewritten, and quests, classes and locations serve a single story.

The pack suits players looking for Minecraft with mods for survival and RPG, a modpack with quests and bosses, supported and regularly updated. No manual setup is needed: the launcher downloads the client, the mods and the right Java version, and new versions of the pack arrive automatically.

How to download and install the Arcania modpack

Installing the pack needs the Millida launcher — a free Minecraft launcher. The pack runs on Windows only: on macOS and Linux the launcher installs, but Arcania will not start. After the subscription is paid, an access key appears in your account on arcania.fun: enter it once in the launcher while installing the pack, and from then on the game starts with the Play button.

The launcher can be downloaded from the site and a Microsoft account is not required to play. It installs the right Java version itself, keeps packs in separate folders and updates Arcania when new bosses and quests ship. Progress, worlds and settings survive updates.

What's in the pack: bosses, quests, classes and progression

The core of Arcania is custom bosses with their own combat mechanics and animations that exist in no other Minecraft modpack. Every boss is reached through its own quest chain, and decisions along the way change how the story ends.

There are five classes: Paladin, Archer, Warrior, Assassin and Support. The skill tree unlocks over a hundred abilities, so the build follows your play style. Syoma the cat travels with you as a companion with his own levelling and control panel. The world adds new biomes, dungeons, rare artifacts and magical weapons, while the quest system leads from the first task to the final bosses.

System requirements for the Minecraft 1.20.1 modpack

Minimum: 4 GB of RAM, an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 class processor and a GPU with 2 GB of memory. The pack starts on that, but graphics settings have to be lowered. Comfortable play begins at 8 GB of RAM, a Core i5 or Ryzen 5 and a GPU with 4 GB.

The pack takes about 3 GB of disk space. The launcher picks the memory limit and launch arguments for you, and FPS boost mode removes needless load. If modded Minecraft stutters, crashes or will not start, begin with GPU drivers and free disk space.

Subscription, payment and support

The subscription is bought on the site, payment clears instantly and access opens the moment it does. The access key lives in your account page and is mirrored in the project's Discord bot.

Auto-renewal is switched off under «My subscription» and the period you already paid for runs to its end. The key binds to the launcher account that activated it, so it should not be shared. Questions about payment, access and installation go to support on the site: the chat opens from the button in the bottom right corner, and we usually answer within minutes.
